The Multi Media Interface (MMI) is an electronic system developed by Audi that basically controls your car. But it also offers navigation and entertainment features. Reboot Your MMI
Just like a computer, maybe you need to reboot it and all of your worries will be taken away. It is worth a try, anyway. Here is how to reboot the MMI. Of course, it always better to have our mechanic do this for you. But if your MMI isn’t working at all, you can give it a try.
2G & 3G
Press and hold at the same time: the setup button, big control knob and the upper right soft button. Hold for 2 seconds then release. The system should reboot after just a few seconds.
3G+
Press and hold at the same time: the big control knob, upper right soft button and the tone (or menu button) button. Hold for 2 seconds then release. The MMI should reboot within a couple of seconds.
